Reshuffling of Parish Priests takes effect this week |

After a week of absence of the priests in the diocese due to their attendance to the recent National Congress of the Clergy (January 25-29, 2010, World Trade Center, Pasay, Philippines) majority of the 27 parishes in the Diocese of Libmanan will now have new pastors. This first week of February, all the new parish priests are now moving to their new assignments. Installations will be announced soon. |

Priests in National Congress Donate 1 million to Haiti |

Bishops and priests assembled for the Second National Congress of the Clergy being held this week have contribute one million pesos to Haiti. The special collection for Haiti made at the morning mass on January 27, the third day of the Congress of the Clergy, yielded 988,675.35 pesos, with Manila Archbishop Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales offering to fill up the balance to make it an even one million pesos. |

Five and a half years ago (July 2004) we welcomed you, dear Brother Bishops and Priests to the First National Congress of the Priests right here 7at the World Trade Center (WTC) in what we thought was the unprecedented, historic and grace-filled gathering of some four thousand priests in the Philippines. It was reported then that there were talks, reflections and moments in adoration prayers that caught the priests in rapt attention and fervor where one “could hear a pin drop.” The proceedings of that congress were caught in a book entitled HISTORY AND GRACE, a copy of which was sent to all participants. |
