He is a priest for 25 years and a bishop for almost 3 years.  He served at the Archdiocese of the Caceres, Philippines.  In 2005 he was appointed as Auxiliary bishop of Caceres.  Vatican Appointed him last May 19, 2008 as the new prelate of the Prelature of Libmanan during Vatican's acceptance of the resignation of Most Rev. Prospero N. Arellano due to poor health condition.  Rojas is also the  Titular Bishop of Idassa.

 

Rojas was a former rector and formator of Caceres' Major Seminary and 10 years parish priest of Immaculate Conception Parish, Naga City. 

 

Libmanan is preparing for her 20th anniversary which will be celebrated in 2010.  Libmanan has 37 active priests and 27 parishes, taking care of 3,449 small christian communities locally called SKK-saradit na kristiyanong komunidad which is composed of neighboring 15-20 families.
